At Stafford Junction, we transform lives through faith and action. As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, we are dedicated to supporting children and families in Stafford County who face the challenges of poverty. Our mission is to uplift our community through education, empowerment, and healthy living. By building strong partnerships with residents, churches, service agencies, and local businesses, we create meaningful connections, foster understanding, and drive lasting positive change. We are dedicated to providing essential support, guided by four core values that define who we are: Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
In 2002, the Stafford County Sheriff’s Department conducted an assessment of the Olde Forge community, uncovering a high rate of crime and growing social challenges. The evaluation revealed critical issues such as poverty, domestic violence, substance abuse, unsupervised children, and an increasing population of non-English-speaking and refugee families. In response, the Sheriff’s Department issued a call to action that inspired the creation of Stafford Junction, a nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the well-being of children and families in Stafford County’s low-income neighborhoods. Today, through programs focused on education, empowerment, and healthy living, Stafford Junction provides vital support and a pathway to a brighter future for underserved communities.
