At Stafford Junction, we transform lives through faith in action. As a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization, we are devoted to supporting children and families in Stafford County who are facing the challenges of poverty. Our mission is to uplift our community by promoting education, empowering individuals, and encouraging healthy living. Through strong partnerships with residents, churches, service agencies, and local businesses, we build meaningful connections, foster mutual understanding, and create lasting positive change.
In 2002, the Stafford County Sheriff's Department conducted an assessment of the Olde Forge community, which was facing a high rate of crime and a growing number of social challenges. The evaluation revealed critical issues such as poverty, domestic violence, substance abuse, unsupervised children, and an increasing population of non-English speaking and refugee families. In response, the Sheriff's Department issued a call to action that led to the founding of Stafford Junction—a nonprofit organization rooted in faith and dedicated to enhancing the well-being of children and families in Stafford County’s low-income neighborhoods. Through programs focused on education, nutrition, and healthy living, Stafford Junction provides vital support and a pathway to a brighter future for those in underserved communities.
