Stafford Junction continues to Build a Better Tomorrow for children and families who live in the seven low-income neighborhoods that we serve. Our focus may have changed to respond to this public health crisis, however our mission of serving families in need has not.

Together we can lift families out of poverty through education, empowerment, and healthy living. During the current Covid-19 health crisis, we continue to address the issues of food insecurity, educational learning loss, critical referral services, and virus prevention education in much greater numbers than we could imagine. We deliver Tide Me Over Bags to hungry bellies, educational kits to sheltered preschoolers, and critical PPE and toiletries to keep our children learning and families safe. One thing is certain, families who live in poverty have a higher degree of vulnerability today and Stafford Junction needs everyone’s help to continue to meet this critical need. Many of our families are working parents who live paycheck to paycheck. Jobs are being lost, eviction postponements and utility shut-off deferrals are being lifted, and the Covid-19 virus may be a way of life for months or years to come. We do not yet know the full effect this pandemic will have on the children and families who reside in our seven low-income neighborhoods. We must have everyone’s help, to continue to provide the level of services to our vulnerable children and families who live in poverty.

“Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me”.
                                                                       Matthew 25:40

Your gift will allow us to provide food and emergency services to the children and families that count on Stafford Junction. A monetary donation will give us the greatest flexibility in assisting with this need.
